11775 Köhler           Discovered 1977 Oct. 16 by C. J. van Houten and I. van Houten-Groeneveld on Palomar Schmidt plates taken by T. Gehrels.
Georges J. F. Köhler (1946-1995), German biochemist and recipient of the 1984 Nobel Prize in medicine together with N. K. Jerne and C. Milstein. Jerne and Köhler, worked at the Basel Institute for Immunology.
