11492 Shimose           Discovered 1988 Nov. 13 by K. Endate and K. Watanabe at Kitami.
Nobuo Shimose (b. 1944) is well known in Yamaguchi prefecture as a professional cameraman of the first order, as well as an amateur astronomer. He is also the leader of the Yamaguchi Astronomical Society and the Hagi Astronomical Club.
