100897 Piatra Neamt           Discovered 1998 May 5 by L. Tesi and A. Caronia at San Marcello Pistoiese.
Piatra Neamt is the capital city of Neamt County in the region of Moldavia, eastern Romania. The city is the current residence of the second discoverer. The ruins of a large Dacian city, Petrodava, mentioned by Ptolemy in his Geographia, are situated near Piatra Neamt.
